My most recent post has inspired me to write one of my typically (if you can call posting to this every few months "typical") long-winded and story-like posts akin to posts of old, such as "pooping etiquette" from mid 2006, or to a lesser extent "orange juice cereal". The only problem is, when I wrote THOSE posts, I actually had something to say... I guess. I suppose I could catch all one of you up on what's happened in the past few months, but then again, that might be boring. So I'll just fill you in on the excitement of this past weekend.

I watch all three Lord of the Rings movies. No, they weren't the "extended editions"; if they were, I'd still only be halfway through Fellowship right now.

 Six months later, first mouse in my apartment. Killed that fucker to send a message... like in Braveheart with the head in the basket there... Sorry little mouse, but rules are rules. Try to eat my food and live in my warm house inside from the blizzard, we break your neck with false promises of peanut butter.

In the (more than a) year I've worked for TWEC, I haven't had any extended period of time off, other than a sick day here and there.

In little more than an hour, I check out for a week-long vacation. YES.

That's what my roommate Andy calls it. It's a funny saying.
